New Delhi, April 29 -- The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed states and union territories to explore the possibility of tapping a central government-sponsored scheme for implementing its order for setting up a centralised dashboard for CCTVs across police stations in the country.
The court directed a meeting to be convened on May 6 where the court-appointed amicus curiae will take up this aspect with home secretaries of all states and UTs in the presence of a joint secretary from the Ministry of Home Affairs which manages the central scheme. abraham thomas
