India, June 4 -- With Carlos Alcaraz withdrawing from the ongoing French Open due to an injury, David Ferrer gave an update on the world No. 2's recovery. Alcaraz withdrew due to a right wrist injury sustained at the Barcelona Open last month.

Speaking on El Partidazo de Cope, Spanish Davis Cup captain Ferrer said, "I talk with him, the recovery is going well, but the facts must be met and little by little.
