Raipur, July 25 -- Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday said his government will introduce a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) Bill in the upcoming winter session of the state Assembly. Speaking to reporters at Raipur airport before leaving for Bengaluru, Sai said the BJP government was committed to implementing the UCC in the state. "The committee's first meeting is being held today. We will get the UCC passed in the upcoming winter session of the Assembly," he said.
