LUCKNOW, April 2 -- : A late night accident in Mohanlalganj area left the driver of a sleeper bus seriously injured after the vehicle lost control and rammed into a house near Phulwariya on Tuesday.

According to police, the incident took place around 1:30 am when a Jaipur bound sleeper bus was passing through the stretch. The bus, which had started its journey from Varanasi and was travelling via Prayagraj, reportedly swerved suddenly to avoid a truck that appeared from the Jyoti Nagar side. In the process, the driver lost control and the vehicle crashed into the gate and boundary wall of a nearby house.
