India, Aug. 25 -- A shooting took place at Sam's Club in Burleson, Texas, on August 24. The incident took place at 600 North Burleson Boulevard where the warehouse chain selling a variety of bulk grocery items, electronics & home goods is located.

The Burleson Police Department issued a statement offering a blow-by-blow account of what happened.

The Burleson Police Department did not release any details about the condition of the suspect. Scanner reports indicated that an officer was injured in the shooting, but the police statement made no mention of that. WFAA, a local channel, also reported a North Texas police officer was shot in the incident, citing sources. The identity of the officer allegedly shot has not been disclosed either....
