India, Aug. 9 -- 53pm EDT: The Walnut Fire has grown to around 20 acres and is spreading at a moderate pace through medium to heavy brush, as per Watch Duty. Officials say the fire could grow to as much as 50 acres within the next hour.

A helicopter crew at the scene reported that the fire is moving downhill toward structures in the area.

Additional helicopters have been called in to help battle the blaze.

Additionally, Angeles National Forest shared on X that their firefighters are also assisting the Burbank Fire Department with the brush fire.
