India, July 24 -- Two Border Security Force (BSF) personnel were killed and another was injured after a constable allegedly opened fire at the force's battalion headquarters in West Bengal's Malda district on Thursday evening, officials said. The accused, Shivam Kumar Mishra, was arrested shortly after the incident, they said. "Two persons were killed and one was injured in a firing at Baishnabnagar in Malda," a BSF official said. According to the police, the incident took place at Baishnabnaga, where the 71st and 119th battalions of the BSF's South Bengal Frontier are stationed. Around 3.30 pm, an altercation broke out, following which Shivam Kumar Mishra allegedly opened fire on the three personnel.hTc
