India, Sept. 7 -- Tempers ran hot on the Michigan bench during Saturday's matchup with Oklahoma. Quarterback Bryce Underwood and running back Justice Haynes were caught in a heated exchange late in the second quarter in Norman, which quickly drew attention from fans. Underwood's Michigan contract is in the spotlight following the fight.
The argument started after a failed third-and-2 run-pass option late in the first half. Michigan, down 7-0 with just over three minutes left, had a chance to extend the drive but came up short. Instead of moving closer to the end zone, the Wolverines were forced to settle for a field goal try.
