India, Sept. 10 -- The Las Vegas Raiders have reportedly suffered a significant setback just days before their 2026 season opener against the Miami Dolphins.

ESPN reported that star tight end Brock Bowers recently underwent a meniscus trim, putting his availability for Sunday's game in doubt.

Bowers was reportedly diagnosed with the injury last week after getting banged up "a little bit in camp," and surgery was subsequently scheduled. He could potentially miss multiple games to begin the 2026 campaign.

When asked directly about Bowers' availability for Sunday's game, Raiders coach Klint Kubiak gave an optimistic but somewhat cryptic response.
