BPO case: SIT quizzes corporator over alleged links to Nida Khan
India, June 5 -- The Nashik city police special investigation team (SIT) on Thursday quizzed the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar AIMIM corporator Mateen Patel in connection with the TCS-linked BPO case of alleged sexual exploitation and religious coercion.
This was the third time since May 25 that the SIT team, led by its chief and assistant commissioner of police Sandeep Mitke, questioned Patel.
"The investigators asked who had introduced Nida and her family to Patel following which the latter helped them in providing accommodation in Sambhajinagar while she was on the run," police sources said.
Nida is one among the eight accused in the case whom the SIT has arrested. All of them are in judicial custody. Nida was absconding for 42 days bef...
