BJP gears up for Navratri push, Tawde assigns roles to co-incharges
LUCKNOW, Oct. 1 -- The BJP is set to step up its preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections from the nine-day Navratri festivities beginning October 11. State in-charge Vinod Tawde reviewed the party's organisational preparedness and poll-related assignments during his two-day visit to Lucknow.
Tawde, who reached the state capital on Thursday, presided over a meeting at the BJP headquarters and assigned responsibilities to the party's four co-incharges for Uttar Pradesh - Jagdish Patel, Medha Kulkarni, Pardeep Varma and Anant Ojha. He also met the six regional presidents and briefed them about the tasks ahead of the assembly elections due in early 2027.
