India, May 4 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has crossed the majority mark and is set to form a government independently in West Bengal, as per Election Commission of India (ECI) trends at 3:45 pm.

According to the latest trends, the BJP has won three seats and is leading in 194 others, while the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) has won one seat and is leading in 89 seats. The Congress party is leading in 2 seats, AJUP in 2 seats, CPI(M) in 1 seat, and AISF in 1 seat.
