BJP demands pB edu min sacking for 'paper leaks'
New Delhi, July 31 -- The Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday staged a protest outside the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) office near Mandi House, demanding the resignation of Punjab education minister Harjot Singh Bains over alleged exam paper leaks in the state.
BJP president Harsh Malhotra alleged that six examination papers had been leaked during the government's four-and-a-half-year-old tenure in the state. A clash broke out between the police and BJP workers when barricades placed near the AAP office were removed.
Condemning the protest, AAP Delhi chief Saurabh Bharadwaj said, "Delhi Police should register an FIR against the BJP state president and use facial recognition to see how many of them had criminal antecedents."...
