India, Sept. 9 -- Floor-length ball gowns, elbow-length gloves, elaborate hair-dos and couples doing the waltz - these are not things that immediately come to mind when one thinks of "Bengaluru", but that's exactly what happened when the Silicon Valley of India hosted a Bridgerton-inspired ball.

Bengaluru recently traded its pub parties for a Bridgerton-inspired ball, complete with "elegance, romance, and a little bit of scandal" - and those are the words of the organisers.
