India, Sept. 5 -- An ex-employee received a full month's paycheck long after resigning, sparking an online discussion around payroll oversights. The Bengaluru-based CA noticed the accidental transfer, waited a day for someone to contact him, and ultimately alerted the founders himself about the incident.

"So this actually happened to me on 1 of Sept. My last working day was 31st July. On 1st September, they credited my full August salary into my account. for a job I hadn't shown up to in a month," Bengaluru-based CA Sreyans Jain wrote on LinkedIn.
