Barapullah Phase III elevated corridor, worth rRs.r1,635 crore, opens in Delhi
India, Sept. 29 -- Union home minister Amit Shah on Tuesday inaugurated four major road infrastructure projects in Delhi worth Rs.1,951 crore, including the long-delayed Barapullah Phase III elevated corridor and the Mukarba Chowk underpass. Work on the Modi Mill flyover extension and the Loni underpass was also launched.
The inauguration comes as the Delhi government seeks to accelerate road and transport infrastructure projects across the capital. Chief minister Rekha Gupta, PWD minister Parvesh Verma and other cabinet ministers were present at the event.
The 5-km Barapullah Phase III corridor provides a signal-free link between Mayur Vihar Phase I and Sarai Kale Khan, with connectivity towards AIIMS and south Delhi. It connects with ...
