LUCKNOW, Sept. 22 -- A week after a 32-year-old man's body was discovered in Krishna Nagar, police on Tuesday cracked the case.

Interestingly, a missing motorcycle was allegedly the first step in a murder plot that ended with the man being killed with a knife with police on Monday revealing how a woman allegedly tried to create trust, an alibi and an opportunity for her lover to eliminate her husband.

Police arrested the victim's wife, Pushpa Maurya, 30, and her relative Neeraj Maurya, 30, for the September 13 murder of Ram Babu Maurya.
