Ayodhya temple fund probe separate from land dispute: SC
New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- The Supreme Court on Monday made it clear that its monitoring of the investigation into alleged embezzlement of donations at the Ram temple in Ayodhya had nothing to do with the Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri land dispute which has already been decided, while allowing petitioners and other bona fide public-spirited persons to suggest ways to make the special investigation team (SIT) probing the alleged misapplication of trust funds more "accountable, transparent and effective".
