On Friday, the film gave the actor his biggest opening as a lead actor. On Saturday, it performed even better, setting up the stage for a massive opening weekend for the romantic actioner.

Awarapan 2 opened at Rs.22 crore net on Friday, the best opening of Emraan Hashmi's career, and one of the biggest debuts by a Hindi film this year.
