India, March 6 -- Austin police have released new video bodycam footage and 911 call recordings from the deadly mass shooting in downtown Austin, Texas, where a gunman opened fire near a popular nightlife district.

At a news conference on Thursday afternoon, footage of 53-year-old Ndiaga Diagne firing a weapon was shown.

Diagne drove past Buford's Backyard Beer Garden, looped back, and opened fire from his SUV, killing three individuals and injuring over a dozen more.
