New Delhi, Sept. 29 -- There was no Neeraj Chopra, but Yashvir Singh and Rohit Yadav stepped up to take silver and bronze respectively in men's javelin at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on a rainy Monday. The javelin field was strong with the presence of Paris Olympics champion Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan and Sri Lanka's Rumesh Pathirage, the CWG champion and season's leader. Pathirage has been enjoying a breakout season and has crossed 90m thrice, with his best being a 92.62m. He won the Diamond League Final and the World Athletics Ultimate Championships.
