Asian Games: Naruka, Dhaliwal combine for mixed team bronze in skeet
India, Sept. 24 -- The day started with the disappointment of the men's 10m air pistol shooting team being unable to win a medal at the Asian Games. By now, pistol shooting has had a long and fruitful history for India on the international stage.
An event, however, that has largely stayed under the radar, is the mixed team skeet event as no Indian pairing had ever managed to win an Asiad medal in the discipline.
On Thursday, members from the royal families of Uniara and Patiala teamed up to buck that trend. Anantjeet Singh Naruka and Parinaaz Dhaliwal remained consistent and unfazed to clinch the bronze medal - India's eighth medal in shooting at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
