New Delhi, May 21 -- Delhi's plan to build a summer water buffer at the Wazirabad barrage on the Yamuna has been hit by two setbacks: delays in a project to expand water storage capacity at the barrage, and a severe ammonia spike that forced authorities to flush out the polluted water to restore flow and make it fit for consumption. The hiccup comes during a bruising summer when water demand is expected to soar. A water-stressed city, Delhi is primarily dependent on its neighbours for raw water. P4
