LUCKNOW, Oct. 22 -- Union home minister Amit Shah is likely to visit Lucknow on October 30 to attend a proposed two-day meeting of the BJP's state executive committee, an event that could give fresh impetus to the party's preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.

The meeting, proposed for October 30 and 31, is expected to focus on the party's electoral strategy, organisational preparedness and measures to strengthen its network at the grassroots level.
