India, Oct. 26 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) has filed an affidavit before the Supreme Court stating that all three orders concerning the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, issued in June 2025, October 2025 and May 2026, were unanimous decisions.

The affidavit was filed in response to petitions questioning the functioning of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

The ECI said the counter-affidavit was unanimously approved by the CEC and both Election Commissioners.
