India, Aug. 15 -- The country is celebrating its 80th Independence Day, and Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff joined the celebrations in Mumbai. Recently, a video of the actors taking a break from playing cricket to hoist the national flag has been doing the rounds on social media. However, it was Akshay's thoughtful gesture that won him praise on social media.

The clip shows Akshay removing his shoes before holding and waving the national flag as everyone sang Jana Gana Mana. The caption of the video read, "While playing cricket, they remembered that today is August 15, Independence Day.
