New Delhi, April 17 -- Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday questioned the Centre's commitment to women's empowerment, within its own party, alleging that Delhi chief minister Rekha Gupta is "only a half CM", who lacks control. "BJP, along with its allies, has 21 governments in states and Union territories. Within these states, how many are women chief ministers? Even your Delhi chief minister doesn't have the rights of a CM, she is a half CM," said Yadav, insinuating that Gupta lacks control over key subjects such as police, public order, and land, which remain under the central government and the lieutenant governor of the national capital.
