India, Aug. 7 -- A light aircraft crashed on Thursday in Githurai, a densely populated area in Nairobi, according to Kenya's Star newspaper. Causalities are feared.

As per local reports, the aircraft is suspected to be a helicopter of the Kenya Defence forces.

Police said they could not give details at this stage. The army has not responded to requests for comment.
