India, Sept. 1 -- Colon cancer contributes to one of the most common cancer-related deaths globally. It is the second leading cause. In a WHO report from July 2023, 1.9 million new cases of colorectal cancer were recorded in 2020. This indicates the seriousness of the diseases, highlighting the need for early detection that may improve survival rates.
