Sivaganga, April 2 -- AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami on Wednesday asserted that Tamil Nadu will be made drug-free within three months if his party comes to power in the upcoming assembly elections.

"Drug sales are happening everywhere. People are asking for a drug-free Tamil Nadu. Even after bringing this to the chief minister's attention multiple times, no action was taken. If the AIADMK comes to power, ganja and drugs will be completely eradicated within three months," he said.

Palaniswami recalled that when AIADMK was in power, the movement of drug was under control. "Because drugs are being sold with the support of DMK functionaries, the police are unable to take action." he alleged.
