New Delhi, June 25 -- An Air India flight "briefly" entered Pakistan airspace while manoeuvring a go-around over Amritsar airport on June 22, the airline and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said on Wednesday. The flight crew and the air traffic controller (ATC) have been de-rostered. "Interim action has been taken against the air traffic controller concerned at Amritsar and the operating crew for non reporting of the event," DGCA said. Pakistan has closed its airspace for Indian airlines since April 2025.P7
