India, Aug. 12 -- A day after a bill seeking the removal of the NEET examination was moved in the Tamil Nadu assembly, Chief Minister Vijay is expected to move a resolution on the delimitation and women's reservation bill.

As per reports, the TVK leader's resolution urges the Centre to maintain the Lok Sabha-Rajya Sabha ratio at 2.2 : 1 by keeping the seats fixed at 543.

The resolution also called for the immediate implementation of the 33 per cent women's reservation in the existing 543 seats in the Lok Sabha.

"All the states including Tamil Nadu and the people / elected representatives of the union territories have not had their population counted for more than 50 years. The next census to count the population was supposed to be held...
