Srinagar, April 3 -- J&K Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has filed a charge-sheet against six persons, including five officials of Srinagar municipal corporation (SMC), for abuse of official position, criminal conspiracy, and conferring undue benefit to an individual in a case of violation of the building permission.

The ACB produced the chargesheet before the court of additional special judge Anti-Corruption, Srinagar, against five SMC officials Choudary Mehraj-Din Bhuja, the then Ward Officer, Showkat Hussain Hamdani, the then Ward officer, Nisar Ahmad Rah, the then Building Inspector, Gulzar Ahmad Bhat , the then Building Inspector and Mudasir Hussain Banday , the then CEO SMC besides against one beneficiary namely Mohammad Abdullah Dar,...
