Abhishek's record ton steers India's T20 win
India, Sept. 18 -- Abhishek Sharma brought a dead rubber to life with a breathtaking 30-ball century as India completed a series sweep over Afghanistan with a dominating 127-run win in the third and final T20 here on Thursday. Abhishek's hundred, the fastest by an Indian and also the quickest for any batter from full member countries, propelled India to 221 for seven after Afghanistan decided to field. He, along with Sanju Samson (50 off 35), stitched a 142-run partnership for the opening wicket. Afghanistan, who were let down by their batting in the first two games, were once again unable to challenge with the bat, getting bowled out for 94 in 14.1 overs.
