Chandigarh, Oct. 31 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will release its first list of candidates for the 2027 assembly elections in Punjab on Saturday, chief minister Bhagwant Mann said.
"We have been declaring our candidates ahead of other parties in the past. We will follow the practice this time as well," he told media in Delhi after a meeting with AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal and state in-charge Manish Sisodia.
The chief minister said the names were discussed on the basis of "people surveys" and feedback on the performance of MLAs. "The Political Affairs Committee will meet again tomorrow at 11 am. The first list will be finalised after that. I will share the list here around 12 noon," he said.navneet sharma
