Noida, Oct. 29 -- The Noida police on Wednesday debunked a message circulating on social media, claiming that the Supreme Court had ordered all government and private firms to pay employees a Rs.5,100 Diwali bonus along with salary by November 5. Stating that the post has also warned of legal action against companies for failing to comply with the alleged order, creating an atmosphere of excitement among employees, the Noida police in a statement, labelling the message "completely false, misleading, and baseless".
