India, Oct. 27 -- A 96-year-old man from the United States has earned a Guinness World Records title for a milestone that came much later in life than it does for most people. Normand Tousignant became a grandfather for the first time at the age of 92, setting a record that his family decided to celebrate in a special way.

According to the Guinness World Records report, Tousignant was 92 years and 24 days old when his granddaughter Madison was born on September 22, 2022. He was officially recognised for the achievement nearly four years later, during his 96th birthday celebrations in August 2026.
