New Delhi, Aug. 25 -- Seven people were arrested for allegedly posing as CBI officers and attempting a fake raid at a timber businessman's house in northwest Delhi's Prashant Vihar on August 11, police said.
They added that the businessman told police that a group of six men and two women, identifying themselves as CBI officials, arrived at his house and sought entry to conduct a raid. When he asked them for a search warrant, the suspects allegedly his threatened the house occupants and left. A case was filed seven suspects were arrested last week, police said. htc
