Mumbai, June 10 -- Six people were killed and one person was injured after a speeding car collided with a motorcycle in Maharashtra's Jalgaon district on Tuesday morning, police said. The incident took place around 7am near Londhe Phata at Amalner in Jalgaon, one officer said. He said the people in the car were travelling from Gujarat to attend an engagement ceremony when their vehicle collided head-on with a motorcycle. After the collision, the bike crashed into a bus coming from the opposite direction, the officer said. Four occupants of the car - Nandlal Mahajan, Anita Mahajan, Suresh Mahajan and Nirmala Mahajan - and two person who were riding the motorcycle, identified as Nilesh Tawade and Falguni Bhoi, died in the accident, he said.
