5 feared dead after IAF aircraft crashes while landing in Assam's Jorhat
India, June 13 -- An Indian Air Force (IAF) transport aircraft crashed while attempting to land at the Rowriah Air Force Station in Assam's Jorhat on Saturday. Five Indian Air Force personnel were feared dead in the crash, including the pilot, according to IAF officials. The co-pilot has survived and is being provided treatment, they added.
The IAF said the aircraft involved in the accident was an AN-32 transport plane used for carrying supplies and that it crashed while attempting to land at the airbase.
