4 MEN held for plotting terror attacks, ONLINE recruitment
New Delhi, April 19 -- The Delhi Police special cell on Saturday said they have arrested four "radicalised" men from Maharashtra, Odisha and Bihar for allegedly plotting terrorist attacks in Delhi and other parts of the country and attempting to recruit people through online encrypted platforms.
Material for preparing improvised explosive device (IED) was recovered and their mobile devices containing incriminating data were seized, police officers aware of the matter said. Deputy commissioner of police (special cell) Praveen Kumar Tripathi said the arrested accused were identified as Sheikh Imran from Bhubaneswar in Odisha, Mosaib Ahmad alias Kalam, resident of Thane in Maharashtra, Mohammad Hammad, a resident of Mumbai and Mohammad Sohail ...
