India, July 5 -- At least 36 Amarnath pilgrims sustained injuries on Saturday morning when a bus, part of a convoy carrying devotees to the holy Amarnath shrine, rammed into four stationary buses from behind in the Chanderkote area of Ramban district.

The accident occurred as the convoy had halted for breakfast at a designated point in Chanderkote. According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban, Kulbir Singh, the bus failed to stop in time and collided with the parked vehicles, leading to a chain reaction that injured dozens of yatris.
