New Delhi, Aug. 27 -- A 30-year-old man in police custody allegedly set himself afire with an unidentified flammable substance inside a police booth in Rohini, officials said on Wednesday. The man suffered around 30% burns and is admitted to Safdarjung Hospital, police said. Police said the man was called for questioning in relation with a a gold chain-snatching incident which was reported from Rohini Sector 5 on Saturday night. While questioning, the man allegedly took out a bottle containing a flammable substance, poured it over himself, and set himself on fire.
