New Delhi, Aug. 14 -- A three-year-old boy was injured after a loose kite string got entangled around his neck while he was riding pillion with his 17-year-old brother on a two-wheeler on Wednesday in northeast Delhi's Maujpur area, police said on Thursday.

This is the second such incident in a week. On August 5, a 32-year-old businessman was seriously injured after a loose kite string slit his throat in Delhi's Uttam Nagar area. The victim was riding home on a bike after work when he was injured.

Police said an FIR has not been registered yet in the latest incident.
