Jalandhar, Sept. 30 -- The Punjab police have registered three FIRs against unidentified students on the charges of attempt to murder, robbery and assault on police personnel during violent clashes at Lovely Professional University (LPU) in Phagwara, and have constituted a separate special investigation team to probe acts of arson, officers aware of the matter said. Internet services in the area resumed on Tuesday after remaining suspended for 24 hours even as the entry of outsiders and media on campus remained restricted, they said.
