Barmer/Jaisalmer, April 26 -- A 25-year-old man was arrested on Saturday for killing his 50-year-old neighbour in a botched attempt at a robbery in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer district, police said. According to district superintendent of police Abhishek Shivhar, the incident occurred late on April 21 in Bire ki Dhani village when the victim, Hathu Devi, was alone at home. Her husband, Amararam was a cumin farmer, and around 30 sacks of cumin were stored in the house, worth Rs.5-6 lakh in total.
