NEW DELHI, Aug. 17 -- A 22-year-old man was killed and another injured in a hit-and-run after the two-wheeler they were travelling on was hit by a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus near Dichaon bus depot in Jai Vihar, Najafgarh, late on Saturday evening, police said. The victim was identified as Sonu, a resident of Uttam Nagar. 24-year-old Sonta, a resident of Mohan Garden, who was riding pillion was injured in the accident and shifted to a hospital for treatment, police said. The driver of the vehicle fled the spot and is yet to be apprehended, police said. Deputy commissioner of police (DCP) Kushalpal Singh said, "The bus involved in the accident was a DTC vehicle."
