Chandigarh, Feb. 28 -- In what was the fourth such instance for tricity schools in a month, at least 21 private and government schools in Chandigarh received bomb threat emails on Friday, leading to immediate evacuation and security deployment. The mails turned out to be a hoax and no suspicious objects were found on any of the campuses, officials later confirmed.

Since January 28, public places, including schools, government buildings and hospitals, across tricity have received bomb threat mails on eight occasions.
