India, Sept. 4 -- Two workers were rescued alive from the Trishul 3A tunnel in Nepal, nine days after a flash flood hit the country, trapping workers inside.

Nepalese lawmaker Shri Ram Neupane shared the update about a second rescue on his Facebook page soon after army spokesperson Brigadier General Raja Ram Basnet informed about the first worker being pulled out alive.

According to the officials, the two men were identified as a mechanical foreman and a mechanical supervisor.
