MEERUT, June 6 -- Two brothers who were cleaning a mint processing unit died on Friday morning in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun district after inhaling poisonous gas, while another brother who entered the tank to rescue them is critical, police said. According to police, the incident occurred in Suraini Papri village in Bisauli tehsil. The deceased have been identified as Jaiveer, 24 and Rajesh, 21, while their brother Manveer, 25, is receiving treatment, police said. SP (rural) Hridayesh Kumar Katheria said the three went to their field with their father Battu Singh, 55, to clean the tank used to process mint to produce mentha essential oil.
